These are my finished post cards for Mindy Tsonas' post card swap. We needed to make 5 cards and will receive 5 in return. On the opposite side of each one I wrote different quotes which went with the specific theme for each card - create, believe, dream, inspire and explore.
The quote is from Mary Lou Cook and says "Creativity is inventing, experimenting, growing, taking risks, breaking rules, making mistakes and having fun."
I began by prepping each card with a layer of gesso and then adhering a paper border with a matte gel medium. Next, I added 2 layers of different acrylic paint colors, and ended by adhering various paper ephemera and a last coat of gel medium. You can see more pics of each individual card here.
