Paper Love

Isn't this handmade paper mobile from Haru absolutely beautiful? The website says that the paper is made from the bark of the Lokta shrub, found in Nepal.

Feeling quiet this week. Last week's house renovation threw me for a loop. Seems to have dampened my desire to create. I'd love to know what some of your go-to methods are when you lose motivation or run into a brick wall.

I understand. Perusing magazines, children's books, visiting craft shops. Sometimes picking up a different project that I haven't done in awhile (lately, it's been knitting). Or sometimes doing something completely different like reading a novel or old movie, going for a picnic... Rejuvenation is necessary for creativity!

These are some great ideas. Please share what movies you watch. Some that I enjoy for recharging my creativity are: Amelie, Stealing Beauty, Breakfast at Tiffanys, The Sound of Music, & any movie with Grant, Katharine & Audrey Hepburn, and Bogart.

Ha! All of the above. I also love It Started with Eve (Deanne Durbin). Sense and Sensibility, Pride and Prejudice, The Family Stone. I love Gilmore Girls and Will and Grace episodes.

I'm excited for you too! We'll be starting this journey together of putting our stuff out there more. Just so you know, I'm transitioning to a blogger spot most likely... How's the remodel going?
