 Hello Friends. I've missed you! I guess my one week break turned into a month (insert sheepish grin). Not only have I been on a much needed blogging break, but I’ve pretty much stepped away from the online community & my creative projects as well. Is it silly sounding to admit that a creative life can be a little overwhelming at times??? (1st world problems, I guess).

So, I’m back & ready to get back into doing. With both the onset of Spring & a new month (can you believe it’s already mid-April – 2012, please slow down!) I’m re-energized & ready for new beginnings & possibility.  I’ve got Project Life spreads to share, along with 52 Weeks of Mail, One Little Word & 30 Days of Lists.


I’m here & hopefully you’re still here with me.

Happy Holidays

If you follow me on twitter or FB, you may have seen my re-tweet of this quote on Tuesday from @SimplyLeap – “Don’t rush 2012 just yet. Make peace with 2011 to make room for what’s to come.” This floored me & hit close to home. And most importantly was such a greatly needed reminder. Because I am guilty of this. I've been thinking how done with 2011 I am & how I just want the New Year to start; ripe with fresh possibilities & a blank slate. But by putting all my energy towards the future, I am ignoring the present & letting my life slip by. No matter how difficult this year has been, this is my life right now & wishing for things to be different is a waste. So I’m changing my attitude & enjoying today in all it’s glorious messiness.

 

With all that said, I’m going to be taking a week or so off from this space to renew, recharge & enjoy this time. I've got a mile long year end to-do list that needs tackling, toasted marshmallow & salty caramel hot cocoa to drink, movies to watch & snuggling up with my mister to do. I want to wish you all a Happy Holidays & will see you soon.

Hello Friends. I'm back from my mini blogging hiatus. Thanks for your patience & hopefully, you'll return too, now that I will be back to a regular posting schedule. I missed this space & you all. Thanks for your kind words, texts, emails & phone calls regarding the death in our family. I am so fortunate to have such great friends.

Today, I'm home from work because of an ice storm. Our long & very steep driveway was covered in a sheet of ice & there was no way I was going to make it safely down. The pics above make me long for warm & sunny days again.

Taking a blogging break
