Lately...

I just finished this book & just started the first episode in the HBO miniseries based on it.

I just discovered this show & found out that the main character is from Columbus, OH .

We just received the news that M will have a second short story published June 1 at this online publication. His first one will be published here in September. Congrat’s babe – I’m so proud of you!!!

We had a belated birthday celebration for M, with my parents this weekend. It may have included an ice cream cake from DQ. Happy 35th M – I’m so lucky to have you as a husband & best friend. And I will always be younger (even if only by a couple months; it still counts).

I am counting down the days until this event. Hoping to learn a ton & meet some fellow crafty peeps.

Also, excited for our overnight trip to do some ghost hunting. You can read about it here or here (with more detail).

I’d love to hear some highlights from your life. What’s been going on or what are you looking forward to? Have a great start to your week!

Sunday Funday

The goodies above are from another blog contest I won from the very talented Marta. She sent me a dozen assorted rounds to create gift tags or garlands with, an awesome Holiday Card which says Happy Homemade Holiday (so cute huh?), and a sheet of St. Nick stickers. I was over the moon excited when I found out I was the winner & squealed in delight once I received the package because the contents were a big surprise. Thanks so much Marta! You can purchase your own Holiday items as well as other handmade items from Marta here.

I was fortunate to have Veteran's Day off on Thurs & then I took Friday off as well. So, its been a very lovely long weekend. I had breakfast with a friend yesterday (as you may have been able to tell from previous posts, breakfast is my favorite meal), and then M & I went to dinner & then to the bookstore. I bought these two  books & this adorable small moleskin:

You can't see in this picture, but the words, Peanuts 60th Anniversary, is etched on the cover.  The inside looks like this:

The quote from Charlie Brown says: "Goodbyes always make my throat hurt...I need more hellos."

As always, thanks for reading & enjoy your Sunday.
